Very powerful. Excellent message. My wife recently broke the driver's side-view mirror off her car while driving with my 2 girls on board. They were arguing, she wasn't texting, and noone was hurt but they all could have been and I certainly gave her hell for it. I told her, and everyone needs to learn this, "When you're driving a car the most important thing you're doing is driving the car and you can't let anything get in the way of that!" Actually I think I was shouting at the time. I've seen people on phones, shaving, & doing eye makeup at the wheel. If one of these is you remember that everyone around you is at risk because of it. If you're driving, drive the car. If you're not going to drive the car put it in park. I'm a doctor. Stay safe. |

At least with drunks, you figure they're driving way late at night, not so many folks on the road, they'll kill themselves, but not so with texting |

@a1butcher: Tell that to the passenger in the car that is now afflicted for life, who might I ad was wearing his seatbelt or the guy on the bicycle that was killed...because everyone knows that there are seatbelts on bicycles. |

Yeah it's sad and all, but at least there are a few less dangerous drivers on the road that would endanger other people's lives. |
