@I-am-goatse: Well said, same here. My mom (& her fury) was the best trouble-deterent ever.
Sadly, if I were in this guy's situation I probably would've taken off the gloves & gone for the power-punch. I know it's not a popular stance, but I think they should learn: mess with the bull, you get the horns.
I despise violence, but sometimes the only way to stop someone from hitting on you is to just knock them the f*ck out. Unfortunately, I speak from experience.
Also, I am in total agreement with Meepmaker: I know sh*t can be scary, but, c'mon people, help each other out! |

absolutely sickening. these "kids" need to be punished as adults and prosecuted to the full extent of the law. their assault on this man cannot be construed as ignorance based on age. they knew exactly what they were doing and did so in a malicious manner. |

The second thing this video makes me think of is: Anyone see that movie Children of Men? This video makes me want that to happen. I would say I hate kids, but truth be told I hate their parents more. Yeah I was a kid once, a respectful kid who would never do this kind of sh*t. My father was strict, and I cannot thank him enough today for that. |

To everyone wondering why nobody helped, it's because of a phenomena called the bystander effect. There are two reasons why this occurs. First, the larger the number of people witnessing event, the less likely any of them are to help due to the "diffusion of responsibility." Second, when none of the onlookers react or intervene, the rest of the onlookers perceive that it is not socially acceptable or correct to do so.
I'm sure that everyone has witnesses something unjust and not intervened at some point in their life. Pretty retarded, but it happens. |

I hate it when people attack other people for no reason.
It happened to be when I was 17. I was walking home from work, and got the poo beaten out of me by a few girls who were bigger than me, and I had no way of defending myself.
They're just cowards. Grr.
