faek, but what you CAN do is rip apart an old disposable camera and expose the leads that are supposed to go to the flash. charge the flash and it will be a powerful stun gun. |

I-IS-BORED: I never disagreed with crakrjak, I just shot down his theory that a 7V iphone could instantly turn into a 90 KV stun gun with the accessory just because a police taser uses a 9V battery.
I never disagreed with the fact that police tasers indeed use 9V batteries, I just pointed out that they take awhile to charge the capacitor, and that they are not instant energy machines like the media would like us to believe. |

Wtf? You just corrected the idiots that keep saying "step up transformer" by pointing out that a stun gun makes use of a capacitor and then you go on to call it impossible by the laws of physics? And where exactly did CrakrJak say anything that you just disagreed with? All he said was police tazers have 9V batteries. |

The 20 pounds is referring to K3vin (note the K3vin in front of that entire paragraph) saying that it's a step up transformer from 7V to 90KV, such a transformer would have 90,000 turns on one side for every 7 turns on the other (HUGE coil). Maybe you should read all of his post. At the very least read this part

The amperage is not what disrupts the muscles in the human body, with a taser. The high voltage interferes with the natural signal the human nervous system uses.
High amperage kills, tasers are designed to deliver low amperage so they won't be lethal. |

K3vin (By the way, even though a transformer could in theory step up the voltage to 90,000 volts (and you'd need about 20 pounds of copper coils to do this), so much current would be lost in the process that you wouldn't feel a thing if someone tried to "stun" you. After all, current is what actually "shocks" you)

Wow, Photoshopped... I mean After Effected. It's obvious that this is fake. The iphone has a 7V battery output, yet it is able to *instantly* produce 90,000 volts across the two leads as soon as it's plugged in? FAKE!
