Speaking from experience, it doesn't take much effort to kick a cat that size across a short distance(10-12ft in this case). Not that I hate cats, I just don't get along with all of them I encounter.
Also, he connected with the underside of the cat, right between the front legs AND the cat was already moving in the same direction as his leg. This would make it relatively easy to launch the cat up and forward with a light kick. A dog would be harder to do because they're built much heavier than cats. I can see this being perfectly feasible.
However, since they set the camera down and it happens within a matter of seconds, I'm still skeptical. I think it's legit because:
1. He's facing away from the cat AND his eyes are on the screen. It's highly unlikely he could have seen well enough to time it as he did.
2. How would you get the cat to actually go along with this? A dog would do it a few times before it decided it didn't like it, but not a cat. |
