Sorry but InBev owns majority of the stock. making it the majority owner and foreign owned. All others are minority shareholders.
@DFWBrysco my point was to premeirwondr who though Bud was still an American beer. It belongs to the Belgians now.

Cool, but I bet they are going to raise the price of my beer to pay for these special cups. I also don't mind waiting a few extra minutes for my beer; especially if it means not using these magnet cups... as if the plastic ones we're using now aren't messed up enough. |

handys003: Inbev has it's headquarters in St.Louis and most of it's stock is still owned by people in the United States. Also August Busch IV is on the board of Inbev. So saying "Bud isn't American anymore." isn't really true. |

The 2006 takeover of AB by InBev did not move the plant, company, or change the recipe, process, ingredients or employees - it simply made the AB Corporation yet another subsidiary of a major corporation. August Busch IV is still on the InBev Board and still is listed as CEO of AB.
How is it not still an American Beer? It is no longer an American owned company on paper, but the Beer is still the same. I don't know about you, but I drink the beer, not eat the paper. |
