Um, talk about horrible footprint... This thing can vacuum MAYBE a 1 inch wide path. Plus, it can only get the carpet 6 inches away from the wall.

If I had a kid, wouldn't they get stuck to this after thinking it was a toy?

Really cool but I wonder how strong the vaccuum is and how efficient it would actually be. I mean in an empty room sure it can roll around just fine. But with lots of furniture I can see it getting kinda stuck in one area.

Cool idea, though in practice I can't imagine it would be very efficient.

ok i'm sorry, but tiny surface area, can't get to any corners, and how the hell does it create suction?

@LuvDefying its called a Roomba I have one. it's AWESOME. you set it on a timer and it does it's thing once a day.

still have to vacuum big stuff up yourself, but they are still pretty good for general house keeping

I think this is a scam set up by the Life Alert people to trip old ladys. I Don't see how it can get any suction when the thing is filled with holes and it's brushless.

The future of toys for fat kids. Ball that rolls itself, and then comes back. All that exercise as they watch tv!

Don't they already have a vacuum that moves by itself? I think it's called the roombot or something?

That was cute. I wouldn't mind having one, but my son and 2 dogs wouldn't ever leave it alone. I wonder how quiet it is, I could let it run around at night instead.

Basically, I have cats. This would scare the ever living drat out of them. I love this thing.

Ok, does anyone have any real details?
How much does it hold for example?
