Monday, December 20, 2010 10:48:18 PM except that both Nazareth and Bethlehem are in Palestine, they are Arabic cities still inhibited by Arabs, despite the continues attempts of displacement of Palestinians, Nazareth having 31% of its inhabitants Christians and 68% Muslims, and 28% Christians to 70% Muslims, so fake names, and history all you want it's PALESTINE. |

Saturday, December 18, 2010 12:38:55 PM *Christmas* was not a pagan holiday. Pagans celebrate the winter solstice and call it Yule. Jesus was likely born in August, when traveling in the Middle East is easier, but the early Christian church moved the celebration to December to superimpose it over the Pagan holiday. |

Thursday, December 16, 2010 8:22:34 PM The Gospel According to St Luke tells us that Mary and Joseph traveled from Galilee to Bethlehem because of a Roman census during the time Quirinius was governor of Syria. This census took place in the year 6 CE, and the Jewish historian, Josephus, tells us that this was the first such census that affected the Jews. |

Thursday, December 16, 2010 8:18:49 PM "Except they didn't go to Bethlehem. Because there wasn't a census." Yes they did, and yes there was. All the citizens that lived in the outlying areas had to go to register to be counted. |
