Well... After watching it (and yes, I was right, it was pretty damn retarded) and reading the other comments, I would like to point out one thing: She didn't say republicans were conservatives, she quite clearly stated that they weren't, they "just like to CALL themselves that, so that's what I'm going to call them."
So... I don't like her, she's all flash-bang and no actual explosion (like a lot of radio personalities...), but it's so typical of cons to never actually listen to anything they don't want to hear. Typical of both sides, really, if Madest is anything to go by... |

That would make you an independent moderate. One who has more sanity and clarity than the other two sides. However it makes you the man in the middle of two warring factions, or the man both sides hate.
It does get annoying when you finally start building something good in between, and one side or the other decides to come tear it all down because they don't like one brick, ya know?
As for this chick... I don't know who she is, but seeing as it's a 5BrainCells post, I know it's going to be retarded... |

haha that was funny, but its no wonder republicans love to perpetuate the idea of the liberal elite when stuff like this comes out. btw id probly be considered a liberal and i dont really agree with this at all. its lumping a political party thats half the country into one stereo type, the same thing a lot of right wingers like to do with democrats when in reality both parties are very diverse in many beliefs. like im pro gun, but i also think gays should be able to marry. |

Conservatism is about frailty? Frail to stand up for what is right even when a lot of the world doesn't want to live by standards, have family values and work hard to maintain that family for life, applies what they believe religious to their personal lives and their actions (not just saying, but actually doing the good things they ask others to do) even when others can't see them. If those things are frailty, then someone needs to look the word up and change what they think about frailty. This lady has nothing but empty words and no proof to back it up. |

Lost of catchy phrases but not alot of substance.
That, to me, is a perfect summery of liberalism.
I said she has "the perfect answers" because she's going on and on about how imperfect 'the right' is, so therefor SHE must be perfect! lolz! I especially like how she accuses the other side of 'hate' by insults and swearing, nice!

It's amazing to me that "she has all the perfect answers" amounts to ad hominem attacks. These are exactly the same tactics that people hate about right-wing radio types: people who disagree are stupid, are uninformed, have mental disorders, are evil, or are blindly following a big personality like a sheep. I consider myself to be pretty conservative on many issues (not all though) but I can still recognize that many of the political differences that I have with liberal friends are honest differences in values. It's not that they are deranged (or any of the other attacks that I just mentioned) it is that I view the world in a different way. I also completely respect them and their views. |
