Gorgack, you're stupid. I did play Uncharted at a friend's house. I can think of a few dozen better games right now, most of them not exclusive to any one console. |

i have a 360 and i love it. im not hatin on the ps3, it has cool features like blu-ray and might have an edge on the graphics. but for me personally if i wanted a console id want it for gaming, and graphics dont always make a game. plus i think the xbox's controller is way more comfortable and sensative. there are only a select few games that are worth one console. like this or the halo franchise. could you imagine halo out on ps3? it would just ruin it |

None of these people have ever experienced the joy of playing the greatest game on PS3, Uncharted 2.
Let that sink in. None of those poor, poor people have fought yetis in the himalayas, solved the epic temple of light puzzle, followed the epic storyline from beginning to end, experienced the cliffhangers and plot twists. None of them have spent hours of endless excitement in the game's co-op and versus modes, enjoyed the constant stream of free updates and new characters, explored the huge maps or played the ever-expanding list of game modes.
Please pray for these lost, confused people. They must soon find the light of Uncharted 2, or else they will be damned to walk the Earth, having never played the greatest game in existence. |

That's the excuse, but it doesn't hold up to scrutiny. Compare, for example, Xbox360 (lots of piracy) and PS3 (little or none). Obviously PS3 games are far cheaper and the Xbox360 is a dying platform...no, wait, neither is at all true.
It's much easier to develop for a console than for PC, because there's only one combination of hardware and software on a console as opposed to millions on a PC.
The console gaming market could be restarted on different terms - console gamers could be and were presented with paying more for games, plus paying more for DLC, plus paying more for online facilities.
A closed platform means more control is retained by the companies owning it.
The industry did not ignore all of that. |

That's even more important than PS3 vs Xbox 360!
I wonder what will happen when the industry and media finally succeed in killing off the PC as a gaming platform, thus killing hardware development.
My bet is that customers will get a choice of two consoles with new models once every 10 years or so if they're lucky, expensive games, expensive peripherals that are developed only slightly faster than the consoles and total control of gaming from the publishers' end. |

Didn't get paid a dime blckhawk1234. I saw it. I liked it and I posted it mostly for our gamer fans out there. Not everything you see on IAB will be for you. We do on occasion show commercials and interesting gadgets that are for sale. There's a whole list of Star Wars crap you can buy a few links back. |

Seriously though, I get annoyed when people spout that rubbish. Sorry but there are just as many people who own 360's who post crap about the PS3 on forums as there are people who are PS3 fans. I should know, I see it every day on the few forums I do visit.
For some strange reason, people who own the 360 and are a fan of the 360 alone, don't seem to see the trash other 360 fans post or say on a regular basis, and act as though they are the "better" of the three consoles.
No, rubbish. If you think otherwise, you need to pay more attention because both are as bad as each other, depending on the site you visit one may be worse. Otherwise, both groups can and have acted like children on a damn playground. |
