My beloved Bearcat! NOOOO!!! I can't believe that happened! Our campus police, and the police in the surrounding neighborhood, just LOVE arresting people for the most ludicrous things.
For example, we had a big Cinco De Mayo block party and I got arrested for sitting on my front porch...the disorderly conduct charge was dropped in court - stupid piggies, I work at a law firm. |

Well, the cops did tell him to stop throwing them and he kept at it. Then he shoved a security guard ... of course he got arrested... git!

I can't believe anyone who lives in the snow belt, would be upset by snowballs, they are a part of our life. I am in my forties and my colleagues and I still whip them at eachg other for sh#ts and giggles going to and from work. Something else must have happened that is cut out of the tape.Last I knew, throwing snowballs is not a crimnal act. Annoying to unsuspecting people or douchebags that won't dress for winter sure, but not a crime. |

I was there, but I didn't get to see much more than him being up there then the video of him being arrested. I've heard multiple stories of what happened, but I do know for a fact he was told several times to stop and then when he came down an officer was hit and he was tackled and taken away. the conflicting story is whether he hit the officer or whether he slipped and fell into the officer. I didn't see any snow balls even getting close to players but they did hit several pittsburg fans who were near the UC student section. There's no reason to arrest someone for throwing snowballs, but he was not following orders given by police and he may have hit one, and that's cause for arrest. I personally know the guy and given that, I'd say he deserves it for actions unrelated, but it is exam week and I haven't heard if he was released XD. |
