Tuesday, November 30, 2010 8:55:07 AM It's about TIME! All these stupid athletes thanking the gods for their touchdowns or victories...it's about time somebody put the blame on them/him/her/it. |

Monday, November 29, 2010 9:04:31 PM I heard an interesting twist to this, adding to inversegrav's post. You always hear people thank god after winning something. If they are 100% religious, they are assuming one of 2 things. Either no one else prayed to win(rare), or god chose to disregard their opposition. So next time you hear someone say "I want to thank god for this..." They are really saying - "haha, god likes me more than you" |

Monday, November 29, 2010 4:12:30 PM I've never blamed God for my failures. I have blamed Him for not paying attention. And He says no to prayers too damned often. So perhaps that dropped ball was his fault. OR it was that God is a Steelers fan and he was answering the prayers of the safety who was praying at that moment "Let him drop the ball, Let him drop the ball, Let himn drop the ball...... YES!!!!" |

Monday, November 29, 2010 3:07:39 PM Couple things: Obviously 24/7 is not the case as he took time to tweet that dissent. Secondly, idiot still got paid an insane amount of $$$ for dropping 5 passes that day. Thankless jerk. |

Monday, November 29, 2010 2:28:27 PM Hahaha. I think that's awesome. Hard to know his intent but unless he's being 100% for real that tweet is a hilarious commentary on blah blah blah. |

Monday, November 29, 2010 2:16:59 PM I'm going to blame this one on his stone hands, attitude, and lack of concentration. He is a professional athlete, yet he can't make a catch high schoolers make. |

Monday, November 29, 2010 1:56:31 PM Everyone thinks that God is a fan of their team. I really do not think God cares a lick about sports. |

Monday, November 29, 2010 12:56:30 PM @Rainbowfarts So why would god give one person more than anyone else? I think he does everyday when the innocent and the young lose their lives for no reason and some criminals live to old age. |

Monday, November 29, 2010 12:41:46 PM I do believe in God but this is stupid. I also am not a big fan when people claim it was God that made them succeed. Why should God give you anything more than anyone else? It's all based on how you help yourself, maybe that football player just sucked, practice more and when you do succeed just accept it was because you tried hard. |
