Thursday, November 25, 2010 12:14:51 PM Yes..please do ensure that your turkey is thawed .__.; My papa makes these during the warmer months :) If you use a clean peanut oil that's properly heated, when you lower in the turkey it sears the outside. It keeps it much more moist, seeing as the juices don't drip out of the bird into the pan like when you roast it and it really doesn't add much fat to the bird...I never eat the skin anyway. It's awesome for a bbq...then you can put in a whole shwack of french fries right after <3 :D |
