What I can't believe is they fell for it - in bars and clubs of all places, where it's the oldest line in the book. I have a suspicion they went along with it quite happily until they found out more about her. |

Every human has an X chromosome. There are essential genes on it.
So...you're defining sex by your partial understanding of genetics.
First question: Why do you do so?
Second question: Some women have an XY sex chromosome pair. It occurs naturally sometimes. They're born female, they grow up female, they mature female, they show female on medical exams, they are female. But they have XY sex chromosomes. Do you think these women are men?
Relevant to both questions: genotype is not phenotype.
Your genes are not you. They are a plan. Construction does not always go according to plan. It is possible that you have XX sex genes, which would make you female by your definition. You can't be sure unless you've had your DNA examined. |

Serious question. To put it another way: how do you define a person's sex?
If your answer is going to be anything about the sex chromosome types, you'll probably want to think again. Reality isn't quite that straightforward.
If your answer is going to be based on ovaries or testicles, you'll be saying that people who have them removed for medical reasons are neuter. You'll probably want to think again about that too.
If your answer is neither genes nor primary sexual organs, you're going to be forced to conclude that it is possible for a person to have their sex changed.
I don't see that you have any way of supporting your stated position. |

Depends on the state. The need for special provision can still be argued even if the state does not recognize her gender identity. They'd most likely lose that argument only if she still has a penis.
"The Idaho Statesman website reported that Ross has a previous criminal record as a man but identified herself as a woman and was booked into the Ada County Jail as a female."
Idaho appears to have the question answered. |

You know x-raying and searching every person has to be the biggest waste of money this side of invading the wrong f*cking country.
To improve this situation, we are asking them to:
-Cooperate with other agencies, and other with them.
-Build a two-way protocol for inter-agency info exchange
-Respond quickly to actual incidents
-Have a protocol in place for correcting mistakes like having 8 year old kids on the no fly list
Do you think they can handle it?

This brings up a really interesting question...if a post-op successful tranny gets arrested and convicted, what prison do they go to?? Are there shemales in the women's prisons and inverted-vagmales in the mens prison? How does that work?! |

That's what struck me as well. Some underlying wish to be caught, maybe? Maybe she knew it was wrong and was torn between a compulsion to do it and a wish to not do it.
A punishment for the deception, sure, but nowhere near the max. It's not like she was really practising medicine without a license.
And yes, it was a form of assault...but how could anyone be gullible enough to fall for it? Berlyn Aussieahshowna, the doctor who does breast exams in the toilets at a bar? Really? Do you want to buy an invisible bridge? |
