I'll bet that in his mind he imagines a situation where he can take off his shirt to display his tattoo to his peers. As he does everyone stops to stare; oh my god, are those green day lyrics on his back? Suddenly all the ladies want him and all the men want to be him. He has to be cool, since everyone on earth knows green day is the coolest band ever!!! I wish I that clever so I could have thought to get a tattoo like that! In mere moments he finds himself the life of the party, with women swarming all over him, wet at the thought of having sex with someone that has such amazing musical tastes...
Then he wakes up and realizes that essentially nobody is actually impressed by other people's tastes in music and people are far more likely to think 'man, you listen to really shtty music. Mine is way better than yours.' than 'Wow, what cool and sophisticated musical tastes!'. |

I am not saying anyone has good or bad taste in music but why all the hate for Green Day. They are much better then all the rappers and pop stars. I agree the tattoo is stupid but the song and the band have only grown and changed styles over the year. Everyone's a critic |
