Those cylindrical structures are terribly difficult to implode correctly. Even seasoned professionals have failed to properly drop one due to the large number of variables involved. |

Durrell: The concussion waves from large amounts of explosives, At or near ground level, Are a lot more harmful than an airplane 1000 ft. overhead flying at 700+ knots. Explosions are different, And more powerful, Than breaking the sound barrier.
I'd rather be hit with the crack of a whip (Which does break the sound barrier) than hold a lit M-80 in my hand until it explodes. |
