Sunday, November 14, 2010 7:56:11 PM Egh too much done to the face the make-up artist for the body. The Mortician unhinged the jaw too much, its falling below the neckline because its also heavily pushed by the pillows. FYI yes, they do break your jaw in order to tie it back into place with wires so that you can't accidentally pop open your mouth during your own open-casket viewing. I kind wanted to be a mortician when I was 12. I got to view my first autopsy when I was 16, after approval through the probate court and signing a waiver and following sterile guidelines, even though the body was not infected by any blood borne bacteria. The staff was nice, the body smelled like bleach and rubbing alcohol, and they played Guns n' Roses on their stereo. |

Sunday, November 14, 2010 6:46:58 AM @VEJENGA I didn't know that fact about the mortitians being able to reconstruct part of the face. I thought it was just the makeup that made him look a little plastic-y, I found what you said rather interesting actually! Do you know that this guy was actually shot in the head?

Friday, November 12, 2010 10:47:12 PM @kitteh, it's not plastic, since I don't think they will be able to keep him "fresher longer", but it's a veil. I don't know why the family would drape one over the casket, but back in the day, before coffins and caskets came about, people had family crypts, and all they did was put the decesed on a plank and drape their bodies with several veils and put them on a shelf in the crypt. |

Friday, November 12, 2010 9:40:38 PM I know its wrong and stuff but I feel like the dead guy is gonna open his eyes and eat the other guy's brains then hes gonna shoot him in the body (not the head) and people will pull the 'Patient Zero' zombie off and get themselves infected and we'll end up with some sort of "zombies in the hood" movie scary just scary |

Friday, November 12, 2010 4:29:44 PM First to all the dumbasses who think the body is fake. When you get shot in the face it doesnt just make a neat little pretty hole like you see in the movies. Quite often the head has a large piece blown out of it or resembles a pulpy mess. That is when morticians(using a photo of the deceased) recreate the missing parts (or the whole head if needed) with a wax like product(Morticians wax) used for embalming. Thats why it looks so "fake". |

Friday, November 12, 2010 12:29:32 PM haha kittehdee i thought he was covered in plastic too!! but if you look at the bottom you can see it some sort of veil or something... I don't know though maybe its so that other guy doesn't squirt him with his watergun? ha |

Friday, November 12, 2010 11:26:26 AM Whoever did his makeup needs to go back to school. Seriously, he looks like wax. A good mortician makes them look real, not like they belong in a museum. And Has anyone else ever been to a funeral where the dead person is covered in plastic, or am I missing something? |
