its not torture. if they just shock you for poos and giggles or to question you then yeah, thatd be messed up, but once youre in cuffs youre not going to get tazed and if you get on the ground when they tell you, you probably wont get tazed at all. |

@splurbyurbl.. ok well, anyway some European countries uses the thaser, like Greece. But most, at least in the most developed parts (like the US) have condemned it. It's because of the revolutions you know, the beginning of democracy... human rights, inquisitions, catholic church opression in the mideviel period, enlightenment philosophers, WW2,Geneva convention... all those things we learned, and that states were buildt upon and we put it in our constitutions... i actually think the US have it there too.. must have forgotten though... about govenment and police, physical punishment, electric torture etc..  |

Yeah, don't know why. Probably because it was a link to a PDF. Not a big deal and it wasn't really a counter-argument or whatever. It was simply a study done on European Countries' various violence statistics against police enitites and what is being done about it. It was dated 2003. Again, not a bid deal. Being a cop in the US can't be particularly hard...
over here even female cops (in good shape though, but still) confront guys like this all the time,drunk yelling morons etc. they take a couple of hits but always manage to bring the down, without any electrocution or other form of illegal torture... kind of ridiculous to see a bunch of guys here, pointing and firing at this moron...hehe |
