I actually looked at those verses, it actually IS about a fig tree, but it's Jesus, and nobody said they hated them. Athiests, hate me now for this comment. |

I hate figs too. The last time I ate some fresh ones they made my stomach hurt so much I thought I was gonna pass out. It feels weird to agree with God on anything, but yeah...figs must die and be wiped from the face of the Earth forever. |

i used to hate figs when i was i child, idk why. maybe because of their thousands of crunchy seeds inside. the sweet, ripe, fresh ones are great. it must be deep purple on the outside and blood red on the inside and should be so ripe that it must have cracks on it.
then they taste sugary. very soft & delicious, yumm! ^_^ |

I once ate a fig. It was the worst fruit I've ever eaten. They look so delicious when monkeys on tv eat them. It might've just been that they were half rotten, or I forgot to peel them, or they've been preserved for over a year to ship them from some tropical country, but still... I understand, God. |

Fivezones, what I've gotten from your post is that you're a Muslim that is upset IAB is not making fun of Muslims and Islam, or that you still don't quite understand IAB after being here for so long.
The thing is, Muslims don't seem to get their panties in a bunch; they either ignore or make threats when they're made fun of. Christians, on the other hand, get all upset and whine and moan and then say the same things they've been saying forever, which IAB finds amusing. |

There is a chapter in the Quran named after the fig tree, and the fruit is also mentioned in Quran in many places. The Quran mentioned figs and then the Prophet Muhammad stated, "If I had to mention a fruit that descended from paradise, I would say this is it because the paradisiacal fruits do not have pits...eat from these fruits for they prevent hemorrhoids, prevent piles and help gout."

Which he obviously does because his chosen people cannot partake of the deliciousness of bacon. Mmmm....
Or maybe that just means pigs are god's favorite creation like the way Hindus revere cows. |
