This falls into the "Uncanny Valley" theory of robotics, which basically states it's ok for robots to look like machines, and it's ok for robots to look humanish, but there comes a point where they're too human-like that we perceive them as human subconsciously and therefore find their robotic behavior as alarming. |

wow... I'mnot impressed with the obviously planted lines of dialog such as "will I dream?" and "when you grow up, I will be just as smart as you!"
And who can forget "I will come and find you... and rape you" ... not sure about the last part. |

I believe the jap girl robot has much better facial expressions, though i dont remember any voice for jap girl, the voice of this robot needs some work. |

Androgynous means equal parts masculine and feminine. Clearly, it is intended to be a man, judging by his voice. But his facial structure is designed so it could also be a woman, if it just had some girly hair. |
