About five years ago this very film intrigued me enough to buy "The Complete Short Stories of Mark Twain". It contains "The Mysterious Stranger", which this clip is based off of. It was the last novel attempt (but unfinished) by Twain before his death.
Toward the end of Twain's life, he went through much personal and financial pain and became a very bitter man. His later works were dark and pessimistic. He wrote venomously about "the damned human race". |

Ahhh.. I remember this, Will Vinton's studio created this along with the ever awesome "Claymation Christmas" and Claymation Comedy of Horrors" --- Even today that Mark Twain claymation flick still creeps me out. Speaking of creeped out, Happy Halloween everyone!! \m/ |
