Wednesday, October 27, 2010 4:16:53 AM @Swaywithme This isn't a game perse. It's more like a giant box of lego. You start of in a world that is made up out of blocks of materials (forming trees, hills, beaches, seas etc.) You can dig up these blocks and rearrange them in objects you like. Some of these blocks can be processed into other materials that give different crafting possibilities. I.E. woodblocks can be transformed to planks that can be used to make poles. poles combined with planks form a wooden pickaxe that can be used to mine ironore that can be melted to iron. Except for the peacefull mode there will spawn monsters when night falls giving the game a bit of a chalenge. The possibilities are enormous. Check YouTube for video's on people who recreated the Enterprise, levels from Bioshock or even a simple working calculator. |

Wednesday, October 27, 2010 12:07:20 AM @ feel the ride. thats part of the beauty of the game, its not a super high resolution or anything so you can have a huge world instead of awesome graphics and a kinda largeish area of play |

Tuesday, October 26, 2010 10:16:14 PM It went too fast, and it went on for too long. After the first 30 seconds, it was about as entertaining as driving across Kansas at night on I-70. Next time don't repeat so much and slow the f*** down! |

Tuesday, October 26, 2010 8:11:07 PM Wow, I had no idea that such a peaceful and clever game would generate so much hate in this forums. You think that this game is a waste, yet you have nothing better than to mock it? <_< |

Tuesday, October 26, 2010 8:08:43 PM Minecraft is such an awesome game! It reminds me so much of LEGOs except that I can play Minecraft anywhere instead of on my bedroom floor xD |

Tuesday, October 26, 2010 5:25:09 PM That was kinda cool, it seems very tedious to do. How do we know they didn't discretely copy and paste some of the same terrain in there? My eyes just glazed over and I quit analyzing. |

Tuesday, October 26, 2010 5:02:05 PM Mine craft is surprisingly difficult when trying to make things such as this. That's what makes it cool to people who are gamers and like such a thing. Its funny that some people waste time doing stuff like this and put off more productive time. |

Tuesday, October 26, 2010 4:14:11 PM @ruthless1990 Did you try the game? When I started it, it took a bit to get used to everything as I kept getting lost everywhere. Then I decided to start digging at the spawn point and got some dirt. Then I decided to build a giant tower. Then I decided to build a bridge at the top leading into a mountain. Then I decided I wanted to dig right the way through to the other side of the mountain. Then I realised I just spent about 5 hours on the pc without moving. It is really bloody addictive when you get into it. It's basically lego on steroids |

Tuesday, October 26, 2010 4:13:33 PM That was pointless, what a waste of your life. So is coming here. He said he spent about 24 hours over a 2 month span working on this. That is not a major time investment. |

Tuesday, October 26, 2010 4:06:02 PM @ruthless1990 I loved Lego when I was younger I'm guessing you probably don't enjoy Lego anymore. It's just a pastime for some people who like to tinker, design, construct, etc. |
