Monday, October 25, 2010 1:07:43 PM JabberWock: I wasnt calling you out honestly becasue I havent read any of your comments. I avoid going deep in these kind of things: especially not enough to call out a faceless person who I do not know. I just wanted to clear some stuff up for those who think the CFl is better. Since it seems you know everything including experiences within my own life, I think it is safe to admit that I have not seen a CFl game. your right buddy. I really wouldnt waste my time you see. It wouldd be like someone in England paying attention to the MLS when a perfectly good team is on in their own country; just a waste of time. |

Monday, October 25, 2010 11:49:44 AM Desiax010 Pay better attention. I mentioned that this was a Junior league. I can't argue that football on a whole is bigger in the states then here. HS and College ball are huge there. Here we have one ONE NCAA team and they got in this year. The number of people watching somebody do something does not factor into how good they are at doing it. Boredhero78 I never said the CFL was BETTER then the NFL. I said I feel it holds its own. There have been players come to the CFL to be able to play the damn game and not be benched. Its obvious that the NFL is saturated with talent and its a fine line between making it and not. I'm going out on a limb here and guessing that you have never even seen a CFL game. Watch one then speak your mind. |

Monday, October 25, 2010 10:43:15 AM Anyone who says that the CFL is better than the NFL obviously does not understand the game. I mean anyone who knows anything about football understands that the best-of-the-best play in the NFL. The CFL is made up of any good football player who does not have enough talent or discipline to make it in the NFL. The differences in petty rules shine no light on the amount of talent. Yeah you may have a longer field and less yards but who cares if it is second hand talent. The real talent is in the states and if that was not true guys like Tom Brady and Payton Manning would live in Canada. Sorry to disappoint ya. |

Monday, October 25, 2010 9:59:09 AM Yeah...the number of fans in the stands definitely proves how much "better" it is than American football... |

Monday, October 25, 2010 9:09:39 AM you said it jabberwock. Who can't get 10 yards on four downs, NFL? Try it in three and on a bigger field. |

Monday, October 25, 2010 3:57:40 AM The CFL is plenty popular in Canada. Sure its a smaller market and therefore many automatically dub it inferior to the american NFL but for what we got I think we hold our own. With that said, as for the comments about the crowd, this isn't a major league CFL game. This is a Jr.League game. 18-22 year old kids. |

Monday, October 25, 2010 12:16:06 AM Having a biff is one thing, stomping dudes with your sprigs is just a cheap shot. I assume Canadian footballers wear sprigs (cleats)? |

Sunday, October 24, 2010 7:53:04 AM I think you'll find "Football" was entirely invented in Britain, in 1848 Um, davymid? I suggested looking up "American Football" and "Canadian Football" perhaps the year put in the middle confused you tiny limey mind They're all derived from rugby yes? That's probably English too. I'm too lazy (it's Sunday morning) to go look it up... Anyhow, don't let Angilion and Baalth know that "Canadian Rules Football" and "Football (Soccer)" are both called "Football" or they'll INSIST they're EXACTLY the SAME GAME!! lolz! |
