Tuesday, October 26, 2010 11:42:19 AM How many of these "civilian" casualties were caused by these ragheaded scumbags hiding behind women and children and hiding inside hospitals and mosques and being protected by these so called innocents? It's a war people, don't start none won't be none. The problem started with the politicians trying to spin it as the US trying to liberate all those poor opressed Iraqi's so that all you liberal european pansies would stop whining about "blood for oil". We are fighting an enemy that doesnt wear a uniform or fight under a flag. There is no way to seperate combatants from civilians when everybody from old women to children are walking around carrying Kalishnikovs. You are the same morons that think the police overreacted because they shot somebody wielding a chainsaw and didn't stop to talk about their feelings first. You haven't been there and it's easy to be an armchair/monday morning quarterback. STFU! |

Monday, October 25, 2010 1:03:53 AM @almightybob: if you click on the dots, it essentially shows what it was. I saw a bunch of IED deaths, and a lot that were labeled "murders" with one civilian dead. I'm assuming the military just found the body and reported it. Ah yeah. It took me quite a few clicks to find a Coalition death, loads of civilian casualties though. I suppose it must just be every dead body they encountered, so probably not all of them were related to the war. Still sad though. |

Monday, October 25, 2010 12:25:02 AM When it says "Type: Friendly Action...Attack On: FRIEND" and shows 3 Enemy killed, what the heck does that mean? Does it mean the enemy killed themselves in a training excercise? |

Sunday, October 24, 2010 7:17:47 PM Neosophist - How can facts be biased?? Or maybe a better question, why do you not know what biased means? You misunderstood. He was admitting that, as a member of the military, HIS view might be biased (personally, I would disagree that he's biased, he does make a valid point). |

Sunday, October 24, 2010 4:35:44 PM @Baalthazaaq Predictable? As you've shown obviously. Avoidable? Maybe before 2001 but after Bush picked his cabinet I say no. You've probably read this letter addressed to Bill Clinton himself. If you Google the names at the bottom of the page you'll notice that most of them were part of the Bush 43 cabinet. They were definitely scheming this when they entered office.

Sunday, October 24, 2010 2:18:29 PM This should never have been leaked. Alot of people say its brave that someone did this, I disagree. Sometimes it's best to keep people in the dark. And what the hell IAB? Multiple news stories about the pentagon planning on dealing with the fall out from someone violating their contract to not leak poo like this, and you guys go ahead and post it? Not to be overly critical, but the person that leaked this can be charged with treason by all technicalities. But this is a biased view from a skirt chasing, chain smoking, foul mouthed, bare knuckle brawling sailor. (not really all that, but hey, who am i to tell the people that theyre wrong in their preconceptions about the military?) |

Sunday, October 24, 2010 10:55:53 AM Very sad. Also strange that quite a few are outside Iraq. Perhaps it's all deaths, and not just combat deaths? |

Sunday, October 24, 2010 10:22:27 AM @SPrinkZ I am not going to argue with you, but I am going to refer you to a couple of books to read: The Cousin's Wars, by Kevin Philips God's New Israel, by Conrad Cherry Perhaps if you didn't have such a narrow view, you could study these two works and realize the importance religion played a part in western society. And, to follow up with a bought of patriotism: If you don't like America, leave. |

Sunday, October 24, 2010 10:10:26 AM "I can't agree with this, as theistic religions may have caused troubles, but it was also the foundation of the entire western society. It isn't like nothing good comes out of organized religion." I don't understand this asinine claim. It is equally as true to say that cooking is responsible for western civilization, or anything else preceding it. Religion is not responsible for very much aside from keeping stupid people in their place. Hence why lords ran manors, and peasants slaved away. Their awful squalor was rectified by the belief in God. Without it, they would have revolted like hell. Why else would they be suffering if it were not for God's plan? Religion has no place in taking responsibility for Western Civilization. And Western Civilization isn't that great anyway. It's always fixated on finding absolutes about the world that clearly aren't there. |

Sunday, October 24, 2010 5:34:23 AM Losing just one of our military is sad indeed. I have two sons that are military, one went to Iraq, and one went to Afghanistan. I worried about them daily. They volunteered. I am glad to say that they are not a dot on this politically motivated map. My thoughts and feelings go out to those that lost a loved one or friend.

Sunday, October 24, 2010 2:26:52 AM You cannot force anyone to believe the way you believe; whether you are a theist or an atheist. The Spanish Inquisition did a pretty good job of trying. |
