Absolutely astounding. I watched most of the rescue, had to get a few hours sleep of course! Each time they brought another miner up was like the first time and yes, I misted up a bit. Such a touching, happy, joyful story - so thankful they made it out ok.
This is one case where I hope they milk it for all it's worth. These 33 men deserve compensation - as much of it as they can get. To survive 17 days before being found, and the next 2 months without going insane is just truly inspiring. |

Can't imagine being in their position, being trapped underground for that long of a time, not sure if you'll live or die. Then coming up to the surface seeing loved ones. This kind of thing makes me so joyous to see. |

This has been very uplifting to watch this today. At the worst of times we finally show our true colours.
