To all those ladies saying this is lame, gay or just cheesy... I think you deserve you get.
I mean yes, it's not my cup of tea but he put time into making the question extremely memorable and romantic - at the place of their first date and in a novel 'media of the time'.
In the future she's going to be able to tell her grandchildren (even show them) the inovative way her husband proposed to her and the rest of you are probably just going to say *oh, he proposed one day at a bar*
This is why romance is dead these days... not because the guys don't have it in them or try, but because they get shot down by women afraid to stand out (probably feeling guilty that they don't have that romantic side in them) |

i would dump you for having an i anything, but what i was going to say was, for the guys commenting on how long it is....i would have to wonder how much you really care about the dam proposal if it seemed quick and no preperation at all. if you love someone that much, your going to spend more than 5 seconds finding a way to get her to say yes. |
