Really. So a shark just up and ate someone? Despite the fact that humans are not natural pray, that they will not attack unless provoked, and that the nutrition a shark gets from a person is so minimal that killing them is not worth the waste of energy? I can't help but feel this is fake in some way. |

Jib - someone posted the link back away. Its a 12ft shark that was found to have the remains of a large adult inside it (so stop trying to ramp up the emotionals RoboPatton with 'its a kid - boohooo')
Its nasty - but - I'm sure a speedboat can mess you up at least as bad.
Personally as a snorkeler and occasional diver, shark attack is an accepted tiny risk, way down the list of hazards. If I should drown, the fishes are welcome to pick my scrawny bones.

Heard about this a few weeks ago or so. It is unknown if the person was dead before the shark ate the parts, but the shark is a bit small for a man-eater. It was killed because people were fishing for shark for food. Hm... if you eat a shark that ate a person, does that make you a cannibal? Hey, it's a shark, what do you expect it to do, anyway? |

I am so on the fence about this, if it was a man eater it is scary however he is in his own "home" the ocean. We are meat eaters does that mean cows and such should come kill us? (that sounds silly but you know what I mean)
It isn't like the sharks are jumping on land getting us |
