Wednesday, October 13, 2010 6:00:01 PM @fivezones, to add onto RecycleElf, I was raised in a Christian house with Christian morals and beliefs, it was forced down my throat, and I hated every moment of it, because of this I've grown to mock and hate Christianity as a whole, where as Islamic faith is not right there in my face, I do not have the right to mock it, as it is not part of my general knowledge, I know ABOUT it, but I don't understand it as a whole, nor was I a part of it ever... I'm betting that a lot of people feel the same way... |

Wednesday, October 13, 2010 2:03:30 PM By that logic, there should be a huge Atheist Non-fiction section...huh, I guess between glib online comments and a massive inferiority complex, you guys must not have the time to write |

Thursday, October 07, 2010 11:00:08 AM well fivezones. you're wrong. and its a very big field you are trying to mention here. sivilized christianity is way more in your media (american i presume?) and therefor it somehow touches almost everyones daily agenda. islam rarely do in most parts of the US. Where i'm from, everyone agrees christianity is just plain silly and we mock islam more and more every day. im not saying it is an achievement or anything, but it is true. The day hindues start immigrating into your country or threaten your way of life, im sure lots of atheists will start racking down on them too. |

Wednesday, October 06, 2010 9:29:29 PM Yes, make fun of Christians again and again while patting yorself on the back about how "edgy" you are. But about Muslims you are strangely silent. Big bunch of chickens |

Wednesday, October 06, 2010 8:27:49 PM Saw this sign at a B&N a few months ago and had the same thought. Went there for the actual purpose of buying the God Delusion (science section, not religious fiction). |

Wednesday, October 06, 2010 2:26:08 PM I think it's funny to read the accounts of atheists who clearly have some sort of emotional baggage concerning the Bible. If you are truly independent, then why are you speaking of how you have had the Bible "crammed down your throat for thirty five years". Just ignore them and live your life. |

Wednesday, October 06, 2010 12:55:37 PM The Bible is the best collection of tales of genocide and sexual perversion you can find that isn't, you know, banned for being a collection of stories about genocide and sexual peversion. |

Wednesday, October 06, 2010 12:26:04 PM I would like to point out that 'religion', regardless of the beliefs, is a structure to control. By using the need to believe in something and the need to belong, those that "control" or "manipulate" the 'religion' exert influence over others. This is how ALL religions operate, including cults, since most of todays mainstream religions are derived and sanitized versions of cult behaviors and practices. All you have to do is open a history book. |

Wednesday, October 06, 2010 10:50:46 AM "saying the same about non-Christians based on THEIR radicals...so to correct myself" I'm not unhappy about your opinion of me and other athiests being based on Richard Dawkins and PZ Myers. In fact, I hope you do! |

Wednesday, October 06, 2010 10:10:24 AM I love how just about all non-Christians base their view on the radicals...not that it makes me any better by saying the same about non-Christians based on THEIR radicals...so to correct myself..."I love how a lot of*" |

Wednesday, October 06, 2010 8:22:58 AM Odd how a book that was written by bronze age men, can still hold sway. I've had it crammed down my throat for thirty five years. Reminded weekly how 'wrong I am.' Wonder if people who use scripture as a weapon, realize that there are passages in said book that says the word of God, to kill anyone who mixes flax with wool, or strangle your son if he speaks out against you... |

The idea is to mock about the fact Christianity is fictional by its own principle ruthless1990. I think it is an awesome sarcastic joke actually |
