Pretty much EVERY odd yet delicious flavor of anything you're EVER tasted went through a testing phase in Japan. The bad ones get weeded out. The good ones come here and elsewhere. |

who are you to say whats a real zombie.. youve never seen one you assclown go watch some romero movies and sharpen your stick for when the "zombies" come.. since your so prepared with you almighty zombie knowledge about their top speeds and natural feeding habits.. i know youve spent your entire life researching the zombie way of life |

28 days later is NOT a zombie movie, however I have nothing wrong with describing it as one for lack of a better word, because just like kalimata said, "it contains all the criteria minus the people being risen from the dead"..oh and them running, thats not zombie like, but still |

And I Am Legend weren't zombies. They were more like vampires. Despite the fact that they were once people now turned into monsters, they still had thinking capability. Like that one who got real pissed when Will Smith stole his woman. |

My personal opinion on the; "Is 28 days later a zombie movie?"
The "zombie movie" IMHO is more of a genre than an exact description. 28 Days series contains all the criteria except the people being risen from the dead. There's the "apocalypse", a scourge where all humans are suddenly the minority and society collapses. There's the danger to life and limb from the "zombies". The battle for human survival, both of body and of societal values and morals. The list goes on.
I loved the remake of Dawn of the Dead. It is what it is, a fun, scare ridden action movie.
George Remero's films were more a comment on our society. The zombies were a slow danger designed to force the people to remain in a spot, and deal with their conflicts with each others. All good fun thought. |

Although i don't mind as such zombies starting to run as in Dawn of dead remake, I disagree that the 28 days series are zombies. They beat the poo out of you and kill you they don't eat you which if anything the main thing of a zombie. They died came back and now eat people. |

@Batmanners Well, in the original version of I am Legend, they were Vampires(hence why they couldn't go into sunlight), so I wouldn't consider it a zombie movie :/ |
