Monday, May 23, 2011 6:34:58 PM If the bigdog robot can catch its balance so well, why are we still making awkward, slow 2 legged robots? Get the guy who is best at robot balance, the guy best at AI etc. Get the people who do each aspect the best and get them together to make a proper robot. |

Friday, October 01, 2010 3:27:27 AM Batmanners, what's impressive about this is that it's bipedal, and can do complicated maneuvers like this. Not that they are pre-programmed or not. Baby steps. |

Thursday, September 30, 2010 10:43:06 PM @Everyone who called this boring: Dude. C'mon. Seriously? It moves so fluidly, it balances by a heap of miniscule movements, do you have any idea of the effort required to coordinate that many movements? But no, you're right, your robot is probably better. |

Thursday, September 30, 2010 10:20:40 PM OMG A BORING ROBOT THAT RECOGNIZES VOICE COMMANDS!!!!!! TYHE END I5 NIGH! It's a voice activated robot if it actually uses voice and not radio signals from a controller. And performing pre-programmed moves is as impressive as the TV volume going up when I click the volume up button. Maybe if they merged this technology with the rat-brain-robot technology....and a human brain. |

Thursday, September 30, 2010 9:16:52 PM That WAS boring. Comparing the robit to the asian guy, the robit must be two and a half feet tall. |
