Friday, September 24, 2010 2:47:16 PM What's wrong with someone stating that being overweight is unattractive? Does personality play a role in who I am attracted to? Maybe if I'm trying to date her, but what peaks my interest when I'm looking around in class or if I'm at a bar is if a girl is attractive. Personality becomes an issue if you're looking for a girlfriend, not a one night stand, and certainly not for an online gif. |

Friday, September 24, 2010 2:23:32 PM I can't believe people are missing Pizzaroll's point when it's so obvious, and blowing it out of proportion by reading in between the lines when there's nothing there. Pizza sounds like a typical gym guy that eats well, maintains a certain self-status that he knows is healthy for his body, etc. Why the drat do you people have a problem that he wants a woman with a similar interest? An overweight, or just a few extra pound woman who slams back McDonald's because it's delicious instead of healthy obviously will lead to arguements that Pizza would rather avoid by being with someone similar to him. |

Friday, September 24, 2010 1:32:17 PM well, whatever. it's become a circular argument. how about we just end it with "whatever floats your boat"? i've put off the studying for my Microbiology exam for too long... :p |

Friday, September 24, 2010 1:28:04 PM thats what i mean. you judge my way of thinking as bad and tell me not to do stuff like that. perhaps i should add more "i think" when saying stuff like that, but my point remains. i feel you are telling me my way of thinking is bad and at the same way tell me not to treat others exactly the same way. |

Friday, September 24, 2010 1:24:33 PM I'm judging your COMMENTS and what you SAY, not the way you look. you're probably a really nice guy away from this forum. |

Friday, September 24, 2010 1:19:20 PM "-i just don't think it's right to write someone off JUST because they're not extremely attractive. which was the impression i got from you. so if that's not what you meant, than i apologize." oh It's what i meant, not quite to that extent of course. but what i mean is, that is my standard and you seem to write it off as bad, while complaining how i judge people. when It's kinda what you are doing as well. oh and srry bout calling you a dude, i tend to consider everyone here the same so refer to people from a male perspective because, well, the fact i have a penis and you have a vagina does not influence much on the internet.

Friday, September 24, 2010 1:15:34 PM lukas... Being shallow is NOT human nature... It's stupidity. Looks mean nearly NOTHING to me because a good personality MAKES a girl beautiful in the eyes of someone who isn't so shallow they wont let themselves see it. Most guys would look at my girl and say she isn't that good looking. To me, she's absolutely beautiful... Because I see her for who she is on the inside, not on the outside. |

Friday, September 24, 2010 1:14:21 PM @ kralmir: first of all, i'm not a "dude" so please don't call me that. secondly, i'm not being hypocritical at all. i know we all have our differences and i know we all have different standards---i just don't think it's right to write someone off JUST because they're not extremely attractive. which was the impression i got from you. so if that's not what you meant, than i apologize. |

Friday, September 24, 2010 1:12:12 PM @pizzaroll I live in a very portuguese city. Majority of us are slightly overweight to obese (a few thin and fit people too). The average age of death in my city is 90... A nearby town is severely health conscious. They have 15 different gyms and nature trails and whatnot. The average age of death for that town is around 75. Your lifespan is equivalent to physical fitness argument is negated. |

Friday, September 24, 2010 1:12:05 PM @PsychGeek you seem to think there is less love and loyalty the fitter and better looking a person is, not true one bit. all people have the same chance to have what you think is only possible for people who don't prioritize looks. know how? because all people have their own values and ways of thinking, everyone is bound to find their match sooner or later. It's just that my values are something you don't like, and somehow that makes me bad. well, dude, if you are that small minded and can't see the hypocritical way you are thinking.... i feel for you.
