The hits always make me wince and groan and the fights are fun to cheer at :D
I think anyone who doesn't like hockey needs to come to Canada, put on a Canucks Jersey and watch a winning game with a group of fans. You'll remember it forever- I promise ;)

Since they were cute goalies!
But honestly, I shouldn't be surprised, but I kind of am that out of all the televised sports HOCKEY is going to be the one that's considered boring.
I don't even really like watching hockey on TV unless it's playoffs mostly because I can't sit and watch something like that for like threeee hooouuursss BUT as a good Canadian girl I can promise you NOTHING is more fun then a live hockey game! (like how I HATE football on TV- but had fun at the game?)
Football and Baseball...there's just too many dead spots when NOTHING happens. Football players- because of the nature of the game- do intense activity for like 5 minutes and then it's 10 minutes of commercials and breaks and plays and...bleh.
Hockey in the majority is pretty continuous play and pauses and breaks are usually short unless there's a review on a penalty. Some of the goals are breathtaking- the |
