Tuesday, September 21, 2010 1:27:50 PM I like how most Europeans here slag off american football. Yes, I do my share of mocking as well, but I do respect the game. It can be very entertaining. Besides, sports is sports. But then, I'm one of those who try to watch the entire olympics, winter or summer. I learn every thing I can about all the sports, stuff I don't usually watch (I'm looking at you curling), only to forget it as soon as the olympics end. |

Tuesday, September 21, 2010 1:06:46 PM I was right, the play shouldn't have happened. The clock was at zero, the refs missed it. Ha! |

Tuesday, September 21, 2010 12:59:52 PM bex753 "rugby for girls?" c'mon, man, there's no reason to be sexist. There's also no reason to posture in some weird nationalistic way. 1. American Football may not be your cup of tea, but it is pretty brutal, and I'm sure any Rugby player would have a fight ahead of him facing off against a massive defensive line. Would he pad up? You bet your bippy he would. 2. Have you seen the women that play Rugby? You want to get into a scrum with them? If so, I'll go get the ambulance ready. p.s. Notre Dame still sucks. Go Cal Bears. |

Tuesday, September 21, 2010 11:15:08 AM Oh, come on. If this was a video showing an awesome play in, say, rugby (a sport whose rules I have not the faintest inkling of) I'd still watch it, enjoy it, and be happy for the winners because they pulled off an amazing play. Stop whining if you don't like it, and enjoy what great planning and great execution can accomplish. :) |

Tuesday, September 21, 2010 10:11:27 AM Thanks TruTenrMan and T-Marley. I suppose I can understand why they fell for the trick play then - it was a pretty big gamble to go for the outright win. Fair play to them. |

Tuesday, September 21, 2010 8:45:29 AM Bob, a field goal is worth 3 pts so it would have only tied the score again. GParadox, if you don't want to watch football you didn't have to click on the link. But at least a comment griping about a football post still relieved your boredom for the 3 minutes it took, which is the entire point of the site anyways. |

Tuesday, September 21, 2010 8:27:03 AM Are we that bored that we're willing to watch football plays? The answer is no. No matter how bored I ever am, I do not want to watch Football. |

Tuesday, September 21, 2010 6:50:24 AM "College football > NFL, at least in my opinion." The defences tend to be worse so exciting plays like this are more likely to work. I prefer the NFL, but NCAA is hella entertaining. |

Tuesday, September 21, 2010 5:44:14 AM @almightybob1, no. It would've tied the game going into a second overtime. |
