Sunday, October 17, 2010 11:05:14 AM I find it kinda sad that humans think its very amusing when other animals are trained to act like humans. It's like a dog training a human to drink out of a toilet bowl for its amusement. |

Monday, September 20, 2010 4:53:23 PM I can understand if you don't like whaat they do to the other animals, but just understand that walruses are very social and cooperative creatures. You just show them how to do tricks enough times and they do it. Plus, they get a controlled environment and free food. If you're going to protest against animal "trainers", then don't use walruses as an argument. they're living the good life. |

Monday, September 20, 2010 1:38:40 PM I'd say one comment is enough. You have got to be kidding me if you think this is animal cruelty. Maybe we should let him out in the wild and film when he's torn into a million pieces by a killer whale and you can cry then. This lazy bastard is a social animal doing tricks for food and probably loving it (as much as a walrus can love it). If you think a walrus understands human liberties and being able to 'do what he wants' then you're a drating moron. |

Monday, September 20, 2010 1:09:52 PM For all the animal activists here, just realize that he's living the sweet life compared to the wild. Doesn't have to hunt for food, isn't chased by predators, and doesn't have to worry about poo. Not to mention if he gets sick he gets the best care possible. drat. Besides, you know how dogs like to do tricks to please their masters? I'm sure it's the same way here. This isn't the drating circus were they torture their animals, they care about them. |

Monday, September 20, 2010 9:57:26 AM how is that mean? really? sure, it's for the entertainment of the people. but really, no harm done. if the walrus hated to do this, he wouldn't do it. simple as that. nobody is there with a whip, ready to strike if he gives up. get over it, people. |

Monday, September 20, 2010 9:02:25 AM Oh no! How cruel! I mean really. The poor walrus is given a constant food source and protection boats, hunters, and other predators! People can be such monsters! :'( How dare they train this poor beast to do five situps in exchange for a few buckets of fish. Some people should just be taken out and shot. No walrus should ever be forced to be taken care of by trained professionals and be seen by adoring fans while living a life of relative leisure! |

Monday, September 20, 2010 7:39:15 AM Risin' up, back on the street Did my time, took my chances Went the distance, now I'm back on my feet Just a walrus and his will to survive So many times, it happens too fast You change your passion for glory Don't lose your grip on the dreams of the past You must fight just to keep them alive Chorus: It's the eye of the walrus, it's the cream of the fight Risin' up to the challenge of our rival And the last known survivor stalks his prey in the night And he's watchin' us all in the eye of the walrus Face to face, out in the heat Hangin' tough, stayin' hungry They stack the odds 'til we take to the street For we kill with the skill to survive chorus Risin' up, straight to the top Have the guts, got the glory Went the distance, now I'm not gonna stop Just a man and his will to survive chorus The eye of the walrus(repeats out)... |
