Shopped? Irrelevant, because Moody and Kuntz are real last names and it is possible for them to appear together. There are lots of unfortunately-named people in the army.
For example, someone in my division has the last name of Buttram (pronounced butt-ram or boo-trum). His wife's first name is Anita. And the last four of his social is 1800, so it's possible he has something marked 1800 BUTTRAM. You can't make this stuff up, people. But personally I find the last names Pancake and Weiner to be the funniest to have in the army, because they get funnier as the person goes up in rank. |

When I was in the Navy I saw a SN Stain, I thought it was a announcement joke when visiting one of my friend's ship until I saw her report to the quarterdeck. It took all of my self control not to start laughing.
I also saw a FN Seamen. |
