Sunday, September 19, 2010 2:53:02 PM Didn't know they were protected in Norway norwice... Guess you live and learn, ey? Most bats in the world are harmless fruitbats. They are just stigmatized as to being blood sucking and evil... Weird, innit? |

Saturday, September 18, 2010 2:21:12 PM Love those animals. Up close they are really fine. Here in Norway these are endangered and as such protected. A few years ago I was working in a restaurant (XO in the city of Brandbu) for one rather retarded Turkish family and all of a sudden a bat comes crashlanding on the porch, sliding over the entrance. This made the f* boss Turk go berserk, running after it first with a broom but then just kicking it, again and again, like a football, until out on the street where it died... I simply didn't know what to say. Speechless, utterly. F*cking terrorist? Well, f*cking something. I quit right there and then on the spot. Hope that idiot has constant diarrhoea or worse, but at least his restaurant is now dead. |

Friday, September 17, 2010 2:16:19 PM @meepmaker Only partially true... There are also species of bats that eat fruit, some that prey on small birds, and even some that are carnivores and prey on small rodents... These species are also known to attack cattle. |

Friday, September 17, 2010 11:48:30 AM I expect bat probably tastes like rabbit. probably safer to eat, too because bats rarely carry any diseases. any opinions? |

Friday, September 17, 2010 10:15:55 AM hang on, why is he an arsehole if he caught a bat that appears to be inside his house? Would you prefer he just killed it? Or is it better to catch it and let it go outside where it probably wants to be anyway? |
