Furthermore, when you talk about 1968 being an important date... no, the idea of an independent Palestine is earlier than that.
And it predates the Jewish resurgence.

The Jews were wiped out in Israel by the Byzantines who banned them from returning in the 4th until the 7th century.
The Persians with the aid of the Jews attacked and conquered the city, and held it for a decade or two.
Byzantines came back and wiped out and banned the Jews again.
Islamic Caliphate took it back 638AD. Allowed Jews back in.
1099 Fatimids killed Muslims and Jews. This was the last major Jewish settlement.
1187 Saladin takes it back. Allows Jews back in.
1244 Khwarezmian Tartars take it over. Jews out.
1247 Ayyubids take it over. Jews in.
1250-1507 Mamluks, no idea about Jews.
Followed by Ottomans till 1900s.
So when you say indigenous. You are lying. they were wiped out. A millennium ago. Not by us. |

DEAD. aseirinn. The Jewish people are the 'indigenous' people. So, yes, I think we should stop giving money to the people who only started calling themselves 'palestinians' in 1968 at the start of their propaganda war. And more to the true Palestinians, the Jewish people. |

Everybody wants us to think "old poor decrepit Osama living like a rat in a cave with kidney disease he's probably dead," I say hogwash. He's living like a king wherever he is. Around dirt poor farmers who revere him. $50million reward would go a long way in that part of the world yet he remains free. Don't believe the hype. Osama is alive and well and living like a king. |

It wouldn't be hard for someone to remain hidden in Afghanistan hiding in the caves from place to place with a single body guard. Which is What Osama was used to when fighting the ruskies.
However their is evidence to suggest he has passed away including a Afghani newspaper which did an obituary, but like others have said it's a massive propaganda coup to have him alive so they wouldn't say he was dead even if he was.
Hence undecided I think its plausible he is alive or dead... |

I don't buy into the conspiracy theories. we want big things to have big reasons, but sometimes It really is just some guy in a cave who plans it. sometimes it's a lone gunman. But it feels better if it's a big huge plot. I don't think so but I understand why people buy into that stuff |
