Saturday, September 25, 2010 7:22:51 PM I like how a lot of people ignored where it said "patient" and just assumed this was for torture or punishment. |

Wednesday, September 15, 2010 4:41:06 PM Aluciel: You never want to hold someone down during a seizure. They do it in movies but that's the exact opposite of what you should do.

Saturday, September 11, 2010 9:18:30 AM I can say from experience that while this may be a way to secure a frightened child, it sure as hell doesn't do anything to make them less frightened. They put me on one of these while putting stitches in my head because I kept trying to kick and bite the doctors. Nothing like being strapped to a table while some stranger comes at you with a needle to the face. |

Friday, September 10, 2010 1:29:30 PM My parents used to request something similar to use on me when I would get shots. I am terrified of needles and it was pretty much the only way they could get me to hold still. |

Friday, September 10, 2010 1:24:42 PM for medical purposes, as well as "security" (ie torture to the rest the world) purposes To be honest never heard or seen such a device till now, and the above statement is my first impression. The US disregards international treaties left, right and center. What's to stop them from putting child-soldiers on trial? Oh, wait they are, reference to Omar Kader, a 14 year old kid captured in Afghanistan, and held as an adult, which is in direct violation of the treaties signed, including the US, on protecting and rehabilitating such children. But I guess in America, it doesn't count if their Muslim. My apologies for the rant, but this thing is wrong. --- They're* |
