In windows 7, it only shows a warning if it is NOT secured.

That looks like windows 7, so I can't be sure (I run with Vista since I dislike paying for Microsoft products), but I believe they're all secure. On Vista, unsecured networks are denoted by an orange shield with a black exclamation mark on the standard network icon (two monitors behind a green-and-white T pipe). I would assume that 7 continues the tradition of leaving secure networks unmarked.
