it all depends on what mental disability it is. for example, there are 15 year olds who have the brain of a young child, and there are people who are very intelligent but dont know how to function socially. so EVERYBODY'S right :D |

Mentally disabled people do not lack intelligence, Lando. Their biggest downfall is socialization and health problems like vision.
Where are you getting that from? The average IQ of a person with Down Syndrome is about 50. That is far below average intelligence. Mental Retardation is defined as an IQ below 70.
These are facts that anyone can look up. |

I feel like I have to come back to this. Did I cross some invisible line? There is another thread right up there making fun of Alzheimer's Disease, which is extremely similar in many ways to Down Syndrome (the Amyloid Precursor Protein gene is on Chromosome #21, not a coincidence).
My point was that extreme Stupidity is, in fact, a Disability. Specifically, a Mental Disability. I didn't think that would be disputed. |

How exactly am I wrong? Are you saying Down Syndrome is NOT a disability or that it is NOT characterized by low intelligence (ie. stupidity)? Because I'm quite certain Down Syndrome is both of those things.
Therefore, Stupidity CAN be a Disability. |

lol At my old job there was this fat lazy security guard and she parked in the handicapped spot everyday. I wrote her a not that said that space is for the physically handicapped not the mentally handicapped. She did stop parking there for about 2 weeks after that lol |

It is not an official handicapped space unless there is a sign posted in front. Paint on the ground doesn't count. If you were to get a ticket in that spot you could fight it in court... |
