This piece of "performance art" sums up a lot of things that are wrong with the world. For me, knowing that Yoko Ono makes a living out of doing things like this, while people are dying of famine, floods and war, is why i lose hope in humanity as a whole. I think it's time for man to become extinct, seriously, we are parasites! People get upset with this kind of thing and some are more articulate than others at expressing their thoughts.

i dislike this kind of art as much as the next guy, but it's still art no matter what anyone says. it's the artist that decides that, not the audience. if it's intended to be art, then it is. |

Well, don't forget this is taking place in an art gallery. This type of performance has very close ties to Dadaism and Futurist sound performances. Without these there would be no Punk rock movement 60 years later. My guess, it is an homage based in performance art. Yoko rocks. |
