and it is still more dense than water.

the reason it floats isnt solely because of the lighter sweetener, it is because of the CO2 in the can that pushes it up.

in tandem, the can floats.

...It's just a matter of density. A steel-plated ship floating is a lot more fascinating than a can of diet coke.
