Tuesday, August 31, 2010 10:52:22 AM Dolphins are gay sharks. "Dang, I was shocked to learn there are dolphins as far north as Ireland(?)." Orca's are dolphins. Now I come to think of it - the thought of a big butch 30 foot gay dolphin is a little bit ... intimidating. "look its a wetsuit - its functional - *not* fetish.." |

Monday, August 30, 2010 7:11:59 PM I think I'd actually be pretty scared to see my dog swimming next to a dolphin thrashing about. |

Monday, August 30, 2010 4:54:52 PM @JeffBeau We have no shortage of dolphins in Ireland. Bottle nose dolphins are the most common near shore of course. Fungi in County Kerry is the most famous "tame" wild dolphin. I dived with Dusty in County Clare a few year back. Amazing experience. |

Monday, August 30, 2010 11:44:55 AM Humans think: "D'awww he loves his dolphin friend" Dog thinks: "Next time, dolphin, I shall catch and feast upon you... you cannot elude me forever." |

Monday, August 30, 2010 11:06:43 AM "Honestly, I'd be a little nervous of my dog swimming with a dolphin. Dolphins can be nasty." Yeah, that's what I was thinking, too. Since the dog and dolphin are long-standing friends, though, it's actually more likely the dolphin would rescue the dog from harm (exhaustion or other animals), as they have been known to do with strange humans from time to time. |

Monday, August 30, 2010 8:36:05 AM Makes sense, Dogs and dolphins are actually pretty closely related and have similar social structures. |
