aaaaand this is why pressure cookers now have emergency valves.
I once took the lid off a pressure cooker of rice that was under pressure... second I got the seal undone the lid flew back and rice shot everywhere. |

The tabs on the side probably mean this was a pressure cooker. The lid gives a little twist to lock in place, or not. |
