Saturday, August 21, 2010 8:23:06 PM It's kind of weird I did it multiple times and sometimes I could hear the tone and other times I couldn't. Then I listened to it steady and all of a sudden I couldn't hear it anymore after a few seconds....im calling shenanigans on this. Also if you have an Iphone or a Droid phone download an app called "Ultrasound" it has various tones and it's really fun to mess with people and dogs. |

Saturday, August 21, 2010 5:34:26 PM I can hear it very well, I think hearing is my best sense, because I can sometimes here the high pitched buzz of our old tube tv, when my sister leaves it on |

Saturday, August 21, 2010 4:36:12 PM I can hear it still, but it's not particularly annoying to me. I can hear dog whistles too :)I've been pretty good about my headphone use and only been to 2 or 3 rock concerts in my life, so prob not too much hearing loss yet. |

Saturday, August 21, 2010 1:23:23 PM I can hear up to 18. I've lost about 1000 Hz in two years, apparently, because I could hear up to 19 in my high school physics class. |

Saturday, August 21, 2010 1:49:12 AM "I'm pretty sure Oatmeal played something in the 13-14khz range, which is still audible at slightly older ages." I think it may have gone to about 16khz cos I used a tone generator a few years ago and I could hear up to about 15, and I couldn't hear that even at full volume with or without headphones. And with that scaled one, I could hear something at 15 and 16 but I couldn't put my finger on it. Then again, I'm fairly sure I've had permanent tinnitus since as long as I can remember, so that might be overriding it. |
