wtf is a MOD?
A moderator.
The chat moderators police the IAB chatroom, making sure people stick to the rules and muting or kicking those who don't.
The content moderators approve IAB's content, filter out the bad submissions, line up the posts to go live at the right times, and sort out thumbnails and captions.
The site moderators police the forums, ban spammers or jagweeds, and also fill in with the chat and content tasks as appropriate.
Basically we run the site while fancy fights for funding with Demand Media :) |
