Moving in tight formation on such large bikes is damned difficult, especially with all the bolt-ons those things are toting.
My local PD's motorcycle division uses brand-new BMW K 1300 GT's, which weigh in at a staggering 750lbs, including all the carry gear in the packs. They are not very graceful at low speeds due to this. |

You don't know if they are getting paid for their time here, or not. They are showing off their "skills" to the public. That's public relations, which is part of their job, anyway. |
