Friday, September 03, 2010 12:54:43 PM And fyi: the policies that CAUSED the big crisis? Started by Clinton. ------- I gotta steal Lionhearts comment to respond: "Better to remain silent and be thought a fool then open your mouth and remove all doubt". Thanks for that LH. |

Wednesday, August 18, 2010 12:47:33 PM Dude. It's a fault I have. Sorry about that. I'm just kinda miffed that I spelled out that I DO NOT BLAME OBAMA FOR OUR CURRENT FINANCIAL SITUATION but you keep claiming I do. How can there be a debate, if you don't read the posts? |

Wednesday, August 18, 2010 11:40:05 AM "Besides the meltdown happened before the election (2007)." No poo Sherlock. I said that already. (BUSH COULD HAVE AVOIDED IT ALL! He was a pussy who caved when congress suggested all these stupid bail outs with money we didn't have.) See? I agree though. Credit default swapping also had a lot to do with it. Wall street sucks too my friend. As far as your comment about apprehension of the unknown. My insurance premiums are going up in October, and again in April. Reason? To offset costs due to the upcoming US health care laws. |

Wednesday, August 18, 2010 8:41:05 AM @madest: Like everyone has always said, come with facts. All you do is spout untruths, then make fun of the people who call you out on it. Our current problems are a DIRECT result of: The community reinvestment act running out of control, giving home loans to people who had no business having one. Then they just stop paying them. Banks go bankrupt, stop giving loans, and small businesses in return stop hiring and investing. Excessive bailouts from our government raising fears at wall street, causing our dollar to get more and more worthless. Teamed with the fed refusing to raise interest rates, our dollar gets even weaker. The fed printing money with no backing. Businesses showing apprehension in hiring due to Obamacare tax increases. I'm running out of characters, so I'll close with this. BUSH COULD HAVE AVOIDED IT ALL! He was a pussy who caved when congress suggested all these stupid bail outs with money we didn' |

Tuesday, August 17, 2010 6:28:27 PM No madest, you're just being rude now. Reganomics suffered under BushI because he didn't do anything to keep them going. The US economic growth rate fell slowly every year from about 1985 to 1998. It was still growing, just not a fast. And fyi: the policies that CAUSED the big crisis? Started by Clinton. Expanded by threats of legal action. FULLY supported by Democrats right up to the bitter end. McCain tried to regulate these policies in 2004, but was called a racist for doing so. I have the video :P |

Tuesday, August 17, 2010 11:25:49 AM @madest: Bill Clinton sat there and coasted while Reaganomics did what it was supposed to. Then he added to the Community Investment act, which did a lot to put us where we are today. W didn't help matters. He could have put the brakes on our spend happy congress, but he didn't. He cow-towed to keep the peace. He was a moron that believed them.

Tuesday, August 17, 2010 10:45:54 AM Here's the truth: You can never trust a MADEST. Cat5 used GWB's average unemployment. Fixed it! So madest, you ARE a cumstain after all! What sort of unemployment figure am I supposed to use, if not 'average'? Hummm? Nice try at changing the topic, but you are just flailing around like a headless chicken, and about as intelligent sounding too. Since I was chastising Baalth for saying that unemployment was WORSE under Bush, you've agreed with me & even offered further proof! Um, thanks? |

Tuesday, August 17, 2010 9:41:36 AM @auburn Sad how all the Bible belters share that very same sentiment. Not implying anything, but its pretty fu*kin lame when kids get thrown into the fire in the name of politics. |

Tuesday, August 17, 2010 8:46:29 AM What everyone complaining about unemployment fail to realize is that it's a lagging indicator. Open a macroeconomics book and it'll stare you right in the face. Even if the economy is improving, unemployment can continue to rise. |

Tuesday, August 17, 2010 7:46:37 AM @Madest: There is no draft moron. Those soldiers would not be unemployed. Don't look at Bush's average unemployment. Look at it BEFORE the dems got on a roll in congress. "Americans are working, inflation is under control and wages are increasing with December unemployment rate at 4.5%, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. The wages surge was 4.2% in 2006 and the annual unemployment rate came in at 4.6%." Source For the record, I'm NOT being a Bush apologist. I'm clearly stating that unemployment, and wages, were fine before this bailout and "stimulus" crap started. He is just as responsible as congress for it. All I am saying, is that as soon as there was a like minded president in office, things went downhill fast. |

Tuesday, August 17, 2010 12:12:38 AM Hasn't this moron been impeached yet? I know Cartman, right? After taking the US (and my country, the UK) into an illegal, unwinnable war in Iraq against the will of the international community based on the downright lies of Saddam having WMDs! And after presiding over the greatest global economic clusterf*ck in the history of the modern era, that rocked the whole planet! Damn right he should be impeached! No wait... I'm getting him confused with someone else... |
