I can see using those for certain situations like sightseeing because there is so much to see in a little amount of time.
but I mean come on even mall security is using them now, sheesh it isn't like the mall is so big they can't walk or run to where they got to be. |

Segway costs around 6 grand. Do you really think someone who can afford that can't afford a place with enough room for a bicycle? Or just get a folding bike? Or pay for parking space or something? |

Space, a segway takes up the space of a vacuum cleaner; where as car or bike are significantly larger in volume. Thus where volume of storage and or living space is a a premium, a segway is an economical way to have motorized transportation. |

segways are really fun to ride. When I was in Cancun, I added a segway ride through the jungle to my zip line tour and it was a lot of fun. |
