I personally didn't think the strippers were THAT bad, probably just not made up and everything yet. But strippers are people too. They need to make a living, and if this is what they want to do then by all means let them do it as long as it's not against the law.
Just because some people think it's "evil" doesn't mean it is. You wouldn't like it either if people were trying to shut down your workplace, harass you, and try to put you out of a job that you love. |

J3llyd0nut is right. It's definitely a common misconception that strippers are hot. And the smaller the town, the smaller the likelihood that the women you find working at a strip club are going to be even reasonably attractive. Anyone who's been to Annie's Tavern in Astoria, OR can back me up on that. |

@SKULLMAN - Back when I was single people would say "church is a really good place to meet girls". Well, I tried and nuh-uh. The girls I saw fell into three groups: (1) fat & going to church for the acceptance, (2) emotional wreckage putting their lives back together after an abusive, horrible marriage and they typically have one or two kids, and (3) church devotees - dating them requires regular attendance. |

I watched three times and didn't hear "sex is evil". He did say the strip joint is evil.
I do wonder about the true motivation of the preacher, though. Why pick a fight with a strip joint? How about drug dealers, thieves, murders, et al, in the neighborhood? If the strip parties have disrupted church services, why not get together with Captain Mullet (the owner) and work something out? I'm betting he's making this play to save face, look like the "tough guy" in his church - a verry selfish, and non-Christian motive.
Just how clean is his own house? I'm sure he makes it a point to discuss tithing as often as possible.
This isn't a religion issue, it's a church issue. |

I'm more inclined to agree with the strippers to be honest. Strip clubs are not 'evil'. They might be sleazy and a bit immoral. But certainly not evil... |
