Wednesday, August 04, 2010 2:10:51 PM Never would have thought. Still, I say it depends on the weed. I would think that only a more CBD-potent grass would do as you specified. |

Wednesday, August 04, 2010 9:47:19 AM With that I'll say if you're at risk for schizophrenia you can stand to benefit from marijuana use. |

Wednesday, August 04, 2010 8:52:38 AM Cajun, just to clarify, their conclusion basically stated that schizophrenics who had used cannabis prior to their onset of schizophrenia were less severely affected by the illness, right? |

Wednesday, August 04, 2010 8:25:22 AM Likewise boredest there are people who are adversely affected by alcohol more so than others. For that reason they shouldn't consume alcohol. |

Wednesday, August 04, 2010 8:00:30 AM Cajun247, your link about schizophrenia: they only used the chemical cannibidiol to treat the paranoid schizophrenics. Pot itself contains that chemical, plus THC and others. Depending on the pot, you might get more THC or more cannibidiol. The effects of each are highly different. THC is responsible for the anxiety and paranoia some people feel when getting high. For me, these feelings were so intense that I would become delusional. Either that or I would feel like I was losing my mind or going to die, and I'd curl up in my bed and try to sleep while the sound of my own heartbeat terrified me. After the high wore off and I woke up I still would not feel like myself for many weeks. Maybe I'm the only one who gets affected so intensely by pot, I really have no idea. But the point is, it can have negative psychological effects, which are often overlooked. |

Wednesday, August 04, 2010 1:07:41 AM And yeah they said for awhile "it sinks like a lead balloon" until they tested it on MythBusters. Turns out, properly constructed, they can actually float. |

Tuesday, August 03, 2010 9:39:38 PM Also, DrxSatanx (I don't know why I'm even bothering arguing with you, typing that username), you're an idiot. Those may be the only physical side effects, but if you take some one like me who gets so paranoid after smoking a lot of pot that it's borderline psychosis, that sh*t could mess with your head long term. It affects everybody differently. |

Tuesday, August 03, 2010 9:32:20 PM flingspoo, I was thinking the same thing about pot. Haven't touched that stuff in quite some time. I don't enjoy it at all anymore. |
